These vans are always parked across the street from my studio. They belong to the same family. I wonder if they bought them from Costco.

Not sure if this is a hawk or a kestrel. None the less, this bird needs a fish.

We had a 1988 Volkswagen Sycnro Vanagon when I was young. It was a 4-wheel drive mini van produced for a short time in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I see them around L.A. Hipster mom’s have ditched their Mercedes 300d veggie oil station wagons for the more spacious van with a sliding door. Oh, the 3rd row seat folds down into a bed, so when your trust fund check doesn’t clear, and you cannot afford to pay $2,000 for your abbot kinney studio apartment, you have a spot to rest. No big deal though, the city of Venice beach has a high tolerance for homeless transients, bums, hobos, hippies, hipsters etc.

So what I am getting at,  one may get evicted their house, and have to live in their van. That van could legally be parked outside of the house they were evicted from. The person would be sleeping 50 feet away from their old bedroom, yet pay no rent at all. You follow?
